Ever had a dream that felt surreal. I've had those dreams before, especially underwater ones. I would wake up feeling the cool ocean on my skin and warmth in my heart.

I wanted to convey that same feeling with this painting. Dancing Dreams can inspire you to escape to that place of wonder which gives you calmness of mind and free-ness of heart. Who wouldn't want that.

This was a fun one to create! I asked my Instagram followers to give me one random subject to paint. Then I chose 3 that I thought would be most interesting. They were a : Light House, cat, and stars.

Simple right? Not necessarily. I wanted to give the cat a human like appearance because who doesn't love that?!

So I decided to make him into a fisherman (lol a little irony). With a little splash of anime whimsy this digital painting would be perfect for your home.

I love the moon more than words can express! When I would get off from work at night, I couldn't wait to sit and look up at the Moon. What a jewel of creation. If I ever felt anxious or tired, I would look up and it's diamond white, cool face would settle me. So making a painting intertwining the moon and a subject was just a matter of time.

This painting is meant to remind us that we are cared for if only we take the time to stop and reflect.

During the time I painted Mindeulle, Covid-19 was running rampant. There was so much going on in the world and we were all trying our best to cope. One of my coping mechanisms is to paint it out. In time she became more of a symbol of strength for me.

On and off, it took me about a year to paint her. But as time went on I felt her begging to be completed so I acquiesced. Every stroke seemed to calm and excite me at the same time. And slowly but surely she came to life.

In Korean Min-deul-le means Dandelion. There is something so soft and peaceful about this horse that I couldn't help but name her after one of the coolest plants on earth.

How cute is this little guy! I actually envy him. He is taking it easy while drinking a nice cup of coffee. The simple things can make us the happiest. This guy reminds us to relax when we need to and take in the day with a warm smile and full heart.
