Imagine walking around Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and spotting an Indian Head penny half buried in the ground where the Union and Confederate soldiers battled during the American Civil War. Perhaps that Indian Head Cent first minted in 1859 at the Philadelphia Mint fell out of the pocket of a Union soldier, possibly a lucky coin.
